Community Media Network is established to achieve the development of Third Sector

In the English state, on Sunday 25 May l, the Media Network Co munites Aryans are legally constituted to defend the right to create community media and to claim a public space of communication that ensures the existence and development of the Third Sector of Communication.
also encourage freedom of expression and dissemination of ideas, opinions and information of all individuals and groups through any medium. Community Media Network believes that social development, human rights human, cultural and linguistic diversity and the rights of women and minorities are central to social transformation and formation of a democratic culture.

The process of legal constitution of the Community Media Network, ReMC, began in 2005, when several community media gathered to discuss the reality of their daily work, identify common dynamics and challenges.

After this initial idea was a series of state meetings of alternative communication projects. In the fourth edition in November 2007 in Bilbao, was entrusted to a committee preparing the statutes to create a legal entity that would support the networking and claimed in legal terms the existence of the Third Sector of Communication.

The Community Media Network of participating organizations in virtually all regions of the English State. Over the years the process has involved more than one hundred projects and collective communication throughout the English state, including community radio and television, print projects and the Internet.
